As she got to the bottom of the slope, she realized she had no idea how to stop, and was forced to improvise by aiming herself at a snowdrift.
So you just watched someone expertly dodge and weave their way down the slope only to go head over heels into a mound of snow. Make of that what you will. Or maybe help her up because have you ever tried to claw your way out of something like this while your feet are locked together?
