"Dojo?" He asks, the word not familiar to him, but he can guess it's a Japanese word at least. Was it a title or a place? He wasn't quite sure. "What is a dojo?" He adds, a slight questioning sound at using 'a dojo' rather than 'the dojo' that the other had used, went to show that he wasn't even sure if there was more than a singular dojo.

Then he is distracted, having to try and smother a dry laugh at the comment about deities, and he realizes it would probably still be heard, and could seem rude, he decides to offer an explanation before he's seen poorly. "Scuse. I mean nothing against what you said... I was... just stuck by an irony, that... I could not ignore." he explained. After all, how ironic was it that his father's name was literally 'God'?

"Would you be willing to show me some of the magic you speak of? I... would be willing to demonstrate what I can do, in return." He offered, his interest in seeing other magic outweighing his hesitation to let others know of his skill.
