Yeah, yeah, you've read it a million times.

By definition, an alternate universe game like Daybreak alters the characters to suit the setting. Even if their personality doesn't change much, it alters their entire perception of the game. So what if this was an original universe game, where the characters are instead plucked from their homeworlds and forced to participate in saving a world they had no idea existed?

In this version of Daybreak, characters are pulled into the academy and informed the only way they can return to their world is to fulfil the academy's purpose- Saving the world. Do they co-operate? Rebel? Complain? Try to escape? Take up the charge?
