Jade takes a moment to think this over. And then another. That makes some sense. Her dam, and her pack as a whole had said they'd found her. Nothing about birthing. She even knew the exact place that they had found her but hadn't given any thought, until now, about any of it.

But.

"I did see a dead human on my island..." Even as she says this casually like oh it's no big deal just saw a dead guy where I live, she still has no idea, "They were dead for a long time though. And... I couldn't read, then. I don't know..." who her birth parents were.

She blinks, looking at Gongenzaka in the eyes, "Is there any way to find out?"

She still has to process this, and it may take actually finding out who her parents are, or had been before it truly sinks in, but at least for the moment, she's not tense. Even if she seems to have deflated instead.
