I started to learn them several years ago, when I first crossed over to Earth. I had to learn to coexist with humans.

[ so it was relatively important to learn their languages.. and here at the academy, there's certainly no shortage of diversity. learning several languages has been a boon for communication, even if she's.. kind of antisocial, but whatever. she's had to question a lot of people along her path for answers. ]
