Welcome to the September AU Planning Meme for Daybreak Academy! This post is intended to help prospective players plot their AU and figure out who their characters are in this setting and where they want to go, as well as work together with other players to plan future CR, build Secret Societies and Clubs, and generally determine where they want to start their characters, and where they want them to go. In addition to posting up the form, you are encouraged to tag around to other people's forms and discuss potential CR and plans with them. This post is an open forum for all prospective players to hash out interesting ideas for their characters ahead of joining the game.

Not sure where to start? Feel free to look through the Premise and FAQ for notes on what the game is about, and what to expect. We also encourage you to take a look at our information for in-setting Powers and Secret Societies to help flesh out your character's backstory.

GENERAL INFORMATION

PLAYER NAME: Star
CHARACTER NAME: Tamaki Suou
CANON: Ouran High School Host Club
BLURB: Stupid rich school filled with stupid rich kids, this ding dong decides it's a great idea to make a host club to amuse bored girls. Kind of gets wrapped up in a whole weird ordeal with a girl who gets mistaken as a guy and brought into their little club. Something something deviation between anime and manga with how that relationship kinda goes.

Tamaki's kind of an idiot, it's fine.

AU INFORMATION

CHARACTER AU NAME: Same as canon
STUDENT OR FACULTY?: Student, holy shit
CHARACTER BLURB: His backstory is about the same as canon re: his existence and the whole ordeal with his mother and moving places. HE'LL BE PRETTY STOKED ABOUT COMING BACK TO FRANCE, ACTUALLY.

So basically he'd been training and going to regular school by his Japanese side of the family as they're all a pretty prestigious mage clan as well as businessmen in various capabilities. But of course, Tamaki being Tamaki, has other stupid frivolous nonsense he wants to do instead. Which leads him more towards taking a keen interest in the illusion side of things and using it for his club at his school at the time which does a great job of convincing people to his ridiculous cause or whatever?

Of course with Nightfall being a Thing and his grandmother Very Clearly wanting them to be involved for totally not prestige purposes, he's being shipped from his place in Japan (and his friends, dammit) to Daybreak to learn something actually useful.

Needless to say, he's going to be getting into a lot of dumb shenanigans. Maybe bring the club to France, who knows.
PRE-ESTABLISHED CR: Hey, other mage families might be kinda cool since they're kind of a Big Deal in Japan at least. Or I guess people involved in Japan's business scene might recognize his last name, too.
DESIRED CR: PEOPLE TO HELP WITH HIS STUPID SHENANIGANS, LET THE BOY LIVE.

Lia would be So Down With Shenanigans--that said, Lia's mother is a mage who keeps track of other mage families despite having split off from her own (mage politics are a Thing and she wants to keep an eye on things just in case of disaster :|;;;), so it's possible Lia's overheard her mother talking about Tamaki's family a bit.

Shenanigans.

Lmfao, it's honestly entirely possible. His other side of the family is kind of the same, but that probably wouldn't come about unless he mentions what his last name kind of was before he ended up over in Japan and all that. So oops, double mages.
