CHARACTER: Ekkehardt Gehring | Original | spelleton
CHARACTER AND AU SUMMARY: Ekkehardt is one part of the infirmary team and is a long-suffering healer who's been at the school for four years now! He is also a lich but only a few people know about that and he intends to keep it that way. Overly serious, overly professional, very stiff.

He's the perpetual straight man to everyone else's faculty antics. It's a riot for everybody but him. He's loosened up a bit in recent months, though. This is going to snap back pretty hard during December plotting, because Guess Who Has Torture Trauma!!
WHAT I WANT: More people to bother him! More kids for him to worry about! Basically anything! I'm not wanting for CR but I'm always happy for more and interesting stuff.

Kohaku will continue to show up at Ekkehardt's classes on like stealth/assassination techniques and how to suture wounds and shit despite growing more and more sure she isn't cut out for combat duty out of a misplaced sense of responsibility. Even if she hates it she still has to be ready because the end of the world is EVERYONE'S problem.

after like the fourth or fifth time of this he'll probably take her gently aside and be like "you know these classes aren't compulsory or anything, right" because uhhhhhhhh

She'll honestly be fine in the classes themselves, but like.

He saw her little panic attack in the mindflayer lair. She's not fooling anyone.

CHARACTER: Vivi Ornitier/just Vivi | FF9/FFIX | alreadyhuman
CHARACTER AND AU SUMMARY: Vivi is a doll construct child made to be the prototype for magical soldiers called Black Mages. He doesn't know this yet, but he's probably not going to take that very well.

Other than that ticking timebomb of a backstory, Vivi is a nice kid who likes just about everyone and everything, given the chance to. He's trying his best, though he's become more contemplative and uncertain of his place in the world and what he was actually 'meant' to be doing, and is trying to prepare to face his past.
WHAT I WANT: Friends. People he won't quite get along with but still broaden his views, etc. Possibly people to be mad at.

His player plot's in the works, so that'll be happening next year!

Once Gil finds out what Vivi is there will definitely be a moment of "What a FASCINATING project but I bet I could do it better."

It'll be followed by "But of course that's morally terrible and I probably shouldn't" but....

Also I feel like there's a joke to be made about Gil and gil but I'm not sure how to land it.

CHARACTER: Hornet | Hollow Knight | silksoul
CHARACTER AND AU SUMMARY: Hornet is a hard-edged young lady who wants to find a way to break the curse laid on her old home in order to free her mother and her half-sibling from torment. She basically grew up in the equivalent of a fantasy post-apocalypse and it wasn't great for making her anything but a lone wolf who isn't really comfortable around people and views social norms as an optional extra.
WHAT I WANT: She's new, so people to bounce off of in interesting ways! People who can challenge her in some way or another would be extra good fun, but I'm open to just about anything.
