CHARACTER AND AU SUMMARY: A Candle with the ability to shapeshift into animals he's touched with the intent to 'acquire' them (hawk, raccoon, dragonfly, mutated alligator, red panda, Outlands critters tbd). Good kid, terrible living situation as a human, so he simply... became a hawk and is now lying about ever being anything else. Also very keen to help save the world and prove to himself that he's worth something. Not the most social guy, doesn't do much for fun beyond flying (which is his favorite thing in the world) and studying.
WHAT I WANT: Anythingggg. This is going to be the month that breaks him, though he's still having better luck than actual canon!! He's going to vanish on December 2nd, ending up experimented on by the Galra, probably shred through a few of them when they fight their way out, and it's one hell of a reality check. Toby being Toby, he'll be less talkative, refuse to discuss what happened, and probably avoid rooms without windows At All Costs. There will be some memory shenanigans too, for anyone who connects a human kid named Tobias with this hawkboy. It's not a very common name... 👀
