Welcome to the March AU Planning Meme for Daybreak Academy! This post is intended to help prospective players plot their AU and figure out who their characters are in this setting and where they want to go, as well as work together with other players to plan future CR, build Secret Societies and Clubs, and generally determine where they want to start their characters, and where they want them to go. In addition to posting up the form, you are encouraged to tag around to other people's forms and discuss potential CR and plans with them. This post is an open forum for all prospective players to hash out interesting ideas for their characters ahead of joining the game.

Not sure where to start? Feel free to look through the Premise and FAQ for notes on what the game is about, and what to expect. We also encourage you to take a look at our information for in-setting Powers and Secret Societies to help flesh out your character's backstory.

PLAYER NAME: Trouble
CHARACTER NAME: Miku Hatsune
CANON: Vocaloid
BLURB: Everyone's favorite Japanese virtual idol/voice synthesizer mascot and basically the first character most people think of when they hear the name Vocaloid.


AU INFORMATION

CHARACTER AU NAME: Miku Hatsune
STUDENT OR FACULTY?: Student
CHARACTER BLURB: Ordinary High School student who awakened as a flame with music based powers, who ended up being recruited by a Candle School masquerading as a talent agency and placed in the multi-gender idol group called Vocaloid. She ended up becoming an overnight sensation as an idol, quickly become Face of the Band and most popular member of Vocaloid, all the while learning to hone her talents with her powers as a Candle. Then her school decided to send her to Daybreak Academy to broaden her education in preparation for Nightfall.
PRE-ESTABLISHED CR: People from her old school, fellow famous people she may have met at least briefly (like they were on the same talk show once or something), fellow idols/candles from her school. I'm doubting I'll be getting any other Vocaloid players ffft
DESIRED CR: Miku can always use friends! Anything will do.
OTHER: Not that I can think of. Just hit me up if you have ideas.

Fellow famous people, you say? Care to have bumped into an up and coming young detective getting the idol treatment in some recording studio in Tokyo?

I can definitely see that happening, so sure.

He would've been polite and slightly playful, but...a little bit plastic. If she has a good eye for when someone's putting on a show, she'd have probably recognized the behavior as a perpetual stage persona.

She probably did notice and it would have her curious about what he's like when he's more willing to relax around people. She'd be wanting to befriend him now that they're both in the Academy together anyway because she likes making friends and teen celebs should stick together. She's not likely to push him too hard though. Wouldn't want to make him uncomfortable or anything you know. XD;

He will appreciate having someone else around who knows what it's like to be a teenage celebrity. He kept himself too busy to really socialize outside of work, so it'll be nice to talk to someone else who understands the pain of rude or creepy fans and the microscope of media attention.
