A. Spring’s is here, life is skittles
The sun is starting to stay out longer, and the air is filled with bird song, flowers, and pollen. Several cherry trees on the campus itself is starting to blossom, making a romantic picnic spot, or for the Japanese students to have a little home away from home. Many professors also are starting to hold their classes outdoors to enjoy the sun - unless they're vampires.
Just check for mushroom rings before you lay the tablecloth down.
B. What’s bugging you?
As the chill winter surrenders to spring, the Wooly Bugs started to swarm the mountains chasing the receding cold, and has descended upon Daybreak academy once again. Wild ones are extremely docile and will even submit to be sheared, which faculty will pay students to assist with as Wooly Bug wool are excellent materials for magical clothing.
The adorable little creatures will cling to fridges, iceboxes, and any anyone who underdressed for the weather, sapping away the chill. While they are good for warming up, if they’re left unchecked, a person can get swarmed and succumb to heat stroke.
C. Walpurgis Night
Among the magically aware, even the most hidebound of mages bow down to the traditions of Walpurgis Night, when magic flows strongly and fires burn in celebration all throughout the night, with the last of winter being chased off by the flames.
A local coven has always extended an invitation to staff and students into the forests surrounding Soliel to join them in celebrations, plenty of drinks for those of age, with merriment involving familiars and mischievous spirits abound. It’s become a tradition to try to find the first tree in bloom, or to try to fly a broom - careful though, some of the flying brooms are endowed with prankish spells to add some mischief to the party.
D. IRIS NETWORK
Hey everyone! What is Spring to you? What do you look at and say, “Ah, spring is here!” For me, it’s sneezing until my nose falls off before I hand out flowers all over campus so everyone can enjoy them!
Well I wasn’t being literal about my nose falling off, I forgot this place can be weird. Anyways, What’s Spring to you?

[Normally, teachers prefer to hold their classes indoors during the colder months and might flirt with holding classes outside during the warmer months. Snow is not a normal teacher. Given his facility with ice magic, it's hard to say if he even, generally speaking, can tell if it's very cold. Either way, Snow's been holding most his classes outdoors all winter, and he's not about to stop now]
All right guys! Good hustle! It's been warming up a bit, so let's bump up to three laps around the track for a warm-up. You guys aren't wearing your heavy coats anymore, so it should be no sweat without all that extra weight. Any questions? If not, get moving people!
C.
[ For some reason, the Wooly Bugs always seem to cling to Snow when they show up. He's usually pretty good natured about it, but he sometimes has to be a bit harsh just to keep them all off him. And so it is today that he's pulling them off one by one from his massive frame and shooing them away ]
Hey, hey. I'm not that cold guys, we do this every year. Go be good flying-sheep-things and get sheared now, OK?
A
You'd think you were sending them on a death march, with how they're whining.

[And indeed, the complaining does generally cut back once the class actually gets to the running part]

[He turns away from the conversation momentarily]
HEY! JEAN-PIERRE I SEE YOU SLACKING BACK THERE! THIS IS A JOG NOT A CRAWL.
[As the kid sullenly picks up the pace he shrugs a bit]
Some of 'em just try to get out of it all the time.

So we'll just toughen them up while we can, and put up with the grumbling!

[Enter one student with an obviously large witch hat and the most amused of grins on her face.]
How about I make you a deal? I'll get all these bugs off you, if you agree to sheer a few for me.

Uh...okay.
[Putting her hands together, she cracks her fingers, then raises her hand, with her palm facing downward, and casts a spell. A small pillar of ice, about a foot wide and three feet tall, forms on the ground underneath her hand. An icy mist radiates off of it, attracting the bugs and pulling them away from Snow. Metallia then takes a few steps back as they start to swarm the small pillar.]
There! Piece of cake.

A lot, honestly. About 5 or 6 of these bugs should do for now.

[Snow gets to work - he's not clumsy but he's not especially experienced so it takes a bit as he moves from bug to bug, working carefully and soothing the creature with a low, friendly voice if it protests]
What're you looking to do with all this anyway?

Hmmm...]
I've just been stocking up on rare magical materials, as a witch is wont to do. I knew this place had a lot of 'em, but damn. It's like a gold mine here!

I've seen people scarf weirder things in their faces. Besides! [She grins, putting a hand on her hip.] You'd be surprised what people will eat or drink if the effects are to their liking.
