A. Spring’s is here, life is skittles
The sun is starting to stay out longer, and the air is filled with bird song, flowers, and pollen. Several cherry trees on the campus itself is starting to blossom, making a romantic picnic spot, or for the Japanese students to have a little home away from home. Many professors also are starting to hold their classes outdoors to enjoy the sun - unless they're vampires.
Just check for mushroom rings before you lay the tablecloth down.
B. What’s bugging you?
As the chill winter surrenders to spring, the Wooly Bugs started to swarm the mountains chasing the receding cold, and has descended upon Daybreak academy once again. Wild ones are extremely docile and will even submit to be sheared, which faculty will pay students to assist with as Wooly Bug wool are excellent materials for magical clothing.
The adorable little creatures will cling to fridges, iceboxes, and any anyone who underdressed for the weather, sapping away the chill. While they are good for warming up, if they’re left unchecked, a person can get swarmed and succumb to heat stroke.
C. Walpurgis Night
Among the magically aware, even the most hidebound of mages bow down to the traditions of Walpurgis Night, when magic flows strongly and fires burn in celebration all throughout the night, with the last of winter being chased off by the flames.
A local coven has always extended an invitation to staff and students into the forests surrounding Soliel to join them in celebrations, plenty of drinks for those of age, with merriment involving familiars and mischievous spirits abound. It’s become a tradition to try to find the first tree in bloom, or to try to fly a broom - careful though, some of the flying brooms are endowed with prankish spells to add some mischief to the party.
D. IRIS NETWORK
Hey everyone! What is Spring to you? What do you look at and say, “Ah, spring is here!” For me, it’s sneezing until my nose falls off before I hand out flowers all over campus so everyone can enjoy them!
Well I wasn’t being literal about my nose falling off, I forgot this place can be weird. Anyways, What’s Spring to you?

So the boy's demeanor made him an easy mark, given he seemed to be impressed with much of what was going on, or at least watched it with rapt attention. So when Metallia approached him and asked him the question, he shook his head.]
No, never. [He noticed that she was holding two brooms, one in each hand. Given that other people looked like they were learning, it didn't take a genius to figure out what she was getting at.] ...Would you teach me how?
no subject
Hmm.]
Uh...sure? Who better to teach you than an actual witch, after all!
[The swamp witch extends her hand out to Gunvolt and loosens her grip, making it easy to take the broom from her.]

[The boy takes the broom with one hand and looks it over curiously.]
Okay, so... I'd start by doing like this, right?
[Gunvolt did take a rather traditional stance with riding a broom, if clearly novice, allow the bristled end to trail behind him, with the head up front.]
no subject
Well, at least you've got the basics.
[Since he already knows how to properly ride it, Metallia opts to ride with one of her preferred ways. Rather than straddling her broom, she instead sits on it side ways.]
Now, make sure you got a good grip on it. Feel the magic flowing through the broom and channel it into yourself and then back to the broom. Conjure up a link with it. Then, imagine yourself floating. Got it?
